Can't be beat for the price

This Naturehike kit gives you three super-good-enough pots for less than 1/2 the price of a comparable pot.

I see this as three separate pots rather than as a kit. When I use it, I only bring what I need: the 1L pot for solo/duo camping, the 1.7L for 2-3 person, and the frying pan only if needed.

The build quality and materials are all good. The plastic handles have a steel wire that runs all the way through, so that, even if they were damaged by flames you would still have a usable handle.

Since this is a backpacking kit, I'll compare it to similar budget backpacking pots.

The 1.7L pot weighs 295 grams. This is only 16g more than the 1.8L GSI Pinnacle Dualist. It is 54g more than the 1.6L Toaks titanium pot (which has a frying pan lid.)

However, it is shorter and wider than either of these pots. A 220 mL gas canister *just barely* fits top-to-bottom, with a lot of room on the sides. The additional width does mean more efficient heat transfer, at least in theory.

The frying pan weighs 197g. The pot-and-frying-pan combo thus weighs 251g more than the Toaks. However, the 7" frying pan has almost twice the cooking area of the 5.3" Toaks.

The 1L pot weighs 214g. This is 78g more than the Toaks 1100mL titanium pot. This pot is also shorter and wider than the Toaks: a 100mL gas canister can fit, but not a 220mL. However, if you are nesting the 1L inside the 1.7L, the lid has to be turned upside-down, and a canister will not fit that way.

Considering the price difference between this and other cooking gear, this almost seems like a no-brainer.

Kind of hard to beat this set of hard anodized cookware at this price. I've only used them a few times in camp so far, but also no complaints so far. Very good value for the money. I haven't had any issues with hot spots, burns, or anything like that yet. The size is very easy to deal with when car camping. It's a little large for backpacking, but if you're bringing a mess kit you already know you're going to be dedicating some size and space to the mess kit. I have some other mess kits which are smaller, but that's also because they're smaller sets. When I feel like actually cooking, bringing a set like this is worth it to me. When car camping, a set like this is kind of a no brainer unless you have to prepare meals for a family. It is large enough to prepare food for 1 – 2 adults, possibly 3.

This seems to be the best combo cook set I could find. Naturehike has been hitting it out of the park for me lately! This has replaced an old set that I've had for years and the fit was almost the same with added features, extra pan. The ONLY reason it's not FIVE STAR is that I don't really care for the handle construction, too thick and probably heavier than I need. But this set up offers way more cooking options than I had before.

Have my small extremely light hiking cook system needed something for a larger group a Basecamp set. This works perfect the size is great for cooking for all 4 of us. Clean up is a breeze. The lids are a bit tough to use for draining spaghetti and as always the low profile lid handles are rough to use easily fixed by lifting the lid with a spork. Excellent product.

The handles are very cheaply made and the first time I use the pan, the handles melted off after 10 minutes sitting on the fire. Also the pots can boil water but can still get damaged quickly. Other then that, they don’t take up a lot of space when setting up the camping gear and are somewhat easy to clean.
