Serves 2 to 4 people. This 13 1/2″ (34 cm) pata negra paella pan is great for beginning paella cooks and fits well over most large standard burners. It also fits in the oven and can be used on all types of grills. Pata Negra is a professional quality paella pan made from an extra-thick and heavy-duty grade of carbon steel. It’s a good choice for restaurant kitchens, or for home cooks who expect to give their pan a good workout. As with any carbon steel pans, these pans requires a bit of care: you must dry the pan right after washing it and then rub the inside with a little vegetable oil to prevent rusting. If the pan does ever rust, a few passes with steel wool takes it right off. The pan comes with an informative pamphlet with each pan, which contains two recipes, our tips for perfect paella and care instructions. DIMENSIONS: Top diameter rim-to-rim: 13.5″; Bottom diameter: 11.25″; Top diameter (with handles): 17.75″
Professional-Grade Carbon Steel Paella Pan– Made in Spain for authentic paella cooking. Must be seasoned before first use and lightly oiled after every wash to prevent rust. Do not air-dry. With proper care, this pan delivers years of reliable performance. Includes an informative care pamphlet with each pan.
Easy to Clean with Proper Care – Hand wash with warm soapy water, dry immediately, and apply a thin layer of oil before storing. Following these simple steps prevents rust and preserves the pan’s traditional cooking surface.
Designed for Authentic Socarrat – Unlike non-stick pans, carbon steel allows rice to gently stick and caramelize, creating the prized crispy bottom layer (socarrat) that defines true paella.
34 cm (13.5″) – Ideal for approximately 2–4 servings. Please measure your stovetop or burner to ensure proper fit before purchasing.
Durable Traditional Surface – Light surface marks, scratches, and natural darkening (patina) are normal with carbon steel and do not affect performance. The pan develops character with use.
Versatile Cooking Options – Suitable for gas burners, charcoal grills, stovetops, and ovens. Perfect for traditional paella, sautéed vegetables, and one-pan meals.
