Can this pot be used for cooking rice?

It is not recommended for cooking rice. Due to the high starch content of rice, the stainless steel inner pot tends to cause sticking, making cleaning difficult.

Why does water scale form on the bottom of the pot after using it? How can it be removed?

Minerals in tap water form limescale on the pot after heating. Descale with vinegar or citric acid:

1. Add 1:1 vinegar and water to cover stains.

2. Boil 3–5 mins, then soak 10–20 mins.

3. Wipe and rinse thoroughly.
